A recent trip to mainland china yielded many treasures, but none so full of promise than these silk and linen fabrics. Metallics, brocades, gold lame and camo - what more could a sewing minded, DIY addicted girl need? My only issue now is finding the time to make skirts and dresses out of these gorgeous fabrics - I need a clone who I can lock up in the house and force to make me things whilst I swan around town wearing said things. But you will be happy to know that last night I finished making something out of the lilac linen - stay tuned! Do you have any ideas about what I could do for the rest of the pieces I bought?
