With Punjab Elections set to be held in Feburary of 2012, a lot of retired senior bureaucrats have joined plitical parties in hope of contesting elections.
Former Punjab Director General of Police Paramdeep Singh Gill would likely contest next year's state Assembly election from Moga constituency on the Shiromani Akali Dal ticket, once nurtured by his father and former MLA Late Sardar Nachhatar Singh Gill.
