I may be super slow on the uptake here but recently stumbled upon these Jil Sander Derby shoes - I'd previously seen the version with the neon painted sole but this tonal style - where everything about the shoes is the same colour bar the lining - has escaped me until now. With Australian Fashion Week just around the corner I've been pondering flat shoe choices for days when I've had enough of heels (which I'm guessing will be around day 2) - and these babies are perfect. For a sneaky little DIY that is! I'm thinking painting some inexpensive oxfords with lilac paint for a SS12 twist on the look (which I know is confusing because Australia is a season behind but, whatever). Thoughts?
